Howdy folks it has been a minute! feels like I’ve not written a recipe here for a while. What I have for you today is a super delish, easy peasy, spice mix I use at home and for some of my cooking workshops. Don’t limit yourself to just using this in fajitas, sprinkle it on salads, use it in savoury bread mixes, in soups – throw some on some chickpeas with a little oil and bang em in the oven!! trust me you will be putting it on E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G!!
Dairy-free Fajita Spice mixPrint Recipe
- 1 tablespoon tapioca flour or cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons Nutritional yeast flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vegetable bullion powder
- 1 teaspoon onion flakes
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon tomato powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon Italian herbs
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Use as required for your recipe.
Store in an air tight container away from moisture and direct sunlight.
